This must be satire… but seeing that you had like 4 or 6 good brands sprinkled in with a mix of garbage makes me fear otherwise. And please tell me that this list is at least in no particular order? Even if it isn’t in any particular order, about 40 of these brands do not belong in a list of even the top 100 brands.
You literally have a Walmart brand in here. Not to mention bike brands with no certified testing and brands with awful reputation for post sale support. Please no one use this information when shopping for a bike to purchase.
Hi Steven,
It’s in alphabetical order. There are tens if not hundred thousands of brands in the world and unfortunately we can’t include each and every brand here. If these are in Walmart, they must have quality FOR the price.
Thoughts on Marin?
Hi Oliver,
You’re right, Marin is not included here (oopsie!). You can find this writing here: https://www.bicycle-guider.com/brands/marin-bikes-review/
Why didn’t Scott Bikes make the list?
Hi Rob,
Thanks for the suggestion. We shall look into this and better watch out for our future reviews.
Why the one of the most famous and selling brands in the world Merida and GT stayed off-screen?
I don’t know most of the brands in the review, because of they tiny producers. Though I believe Merida or GT or Jamis more popular and have fabulous models of bike
Hi Nick,
As far as I know those brands still occupy the top tier of international bike brands. We review all types of bike brands from entry-level to big names. I am sure Merida and GT can be seen in other bike reviews. We cater to all types of riders. Due to the pandemic, people are looking for affordable bikes that can offer a bang for their buck. This is where Bicycle Guider comes in the picture.
I just got a REI Co-op bike . I would not call it a budget bike (~$1,600.00) And they are available at local REI retail stores.
Hi Brian,
Certainly not with that price range.
